  • Families are involved with their children's education
  • Students succeed academically
  • Students are healthy - physically, socially, and emotionally
  • Students live and learn in a safe, supportive, and stable environment
  • Schools are engaged with families and communities
  • The communities are desirable places to live.

What is a Community School Site Coordinator?
A community school site coordinator works hand-in-hand with principal, and is a member of the school leadership team. The coordinator is responsible for building relationships with school staff and community partners, for engaging the families and community residents, and coordinating an efficient delivery of supports to students both inside and outside the classroom. Data on academic & non-academic factors drive the work for a community school.
